Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

1. What We Collect

When you use Operation 50 OS, we collect: your account information (username, password, stored securely as a hash), audio recordings and files you upload, and the transcripts, summaries, and analysis generated from those recordings.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your recordings are sent to third-party AI providers (AssemblyAI for transcription, Anthropic's Claude for analysis) solely to generate the transcripts, summaries, and insights you see in the app. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

3. Who Can See Your Data

Your interviews, transcripts, and account data are private to your account. Platform administrators may access account data for support, debugging, or legal compliance purposes.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Render's cloud infrastructure. Audio files and database records persist on a private server disk. We take reasonable measures to secure this data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on Anthropic (Claude API) and AssemblyAI to process your recordings. These providers have their own privacy practices governing how they handle data sent to their APIs.

6. Your Rights

You can delete individual interviews or your entire account at any time. Deleted data is removed from the active database; some data may persist briefly in backups before being purged.

7. Recording Other People

If you record conversations with other people, you are responsible for any privacy or consent obligations you owe to them under applicable law. Operation 50 OS does not manage consent on your behalf.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the platform evolves. We will note the "last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
